I’m a VAT registered company and in my Country I need to declare income for VAT purposes every 3 months and Income for Income Tax in the end of the Year.
When I declare the VAT there are 3 collumns where the sums goes.
1. sold in my country 2. sold in EU 3. sold oustide of EU
I need to write the total sum of my income in that 3 months period and pay VAT of it. For the 2 and 3 the VAT was allways 0, but for the point 1 there needs to be VAT (21% in my Country).
My questin is, if You (Envato) are responsible for determining, collecting and remitting VAT for all Envato Market purchases by EU buyers what that exactly means for me?
That means, I’ll leave the 1 and 2 blank (no total sum, no VAT) and only declare the sum for 3?

@natman I didn’t see any announcement of this thread and the one from Collis in my author dashboard. I suggest You put it there in some red blinking rectangle, so there is nearly noone, who will miss these changes as they are really important.

Basically every author from Poland (and from many other EU countries) needs to have own company because people cannot sell regularly without company.
Yes of course but Envato cannot issue invoice with our company details, right? I don’t get point of authors invoices.What with situation where you sold $100 item? You get the invoice for this where your income is $100? Not $70? (70%)
If I understand it right, it means that your total income from an item sold for $100 is $80 as Envato adds $20 to buyer as buyer fee. In your statement the PRICE column is your total income. Your expense is $10 as author fee you pay to Envato so in the end, they will send You $70.

There is stated in the “Add on Files Included”, that the file contains ABR file with brushes and ASL files with styles – both of these files can be opened in Photoshop with simply File -> Open and then take a look at your styles pallete for new styles loaded. Write some text in your document and then (while the text layer is selected) click on one of these styles to apply on your text.
It this doesn’t help, then the best way is to contact the author through his/her profile and ask him/her about the instalation or usage of the file.

Well, I’m confused, can You please answer my questions?
Lets say I’ve sold only 1 logo template in 1 month. Im on 69%.
1.Logo has been sold for 29$
2. Price tab shows 23,20$
3. Amount tab shows 20,01$ (that is the amount I’ll get on my paypal account)
Question 1: I need to declare my income so tell me, which of these prices is my income? Question 2: I need to invoice that income and on that invoice, there must be two contacts, first is me as the one who receives the money and the second who do i sell that licence(s), who is it?
