Nope. For me it is good month.

Anyone else having the worst month since recording equipment was invented? Slow as treacle.
I can understand that happy Brazil tracks may be not more requested now…. ;-)
:D Perhaps, writing sad Brazil tracks would be a wise decision now

Haha yeah. I’m off to write a samba anthem in a minor key

Hey Matt,

Congratulations on become Elite! Amazing achievement. I hope to join you soon! Using cutting edge software I have created this wonderful new avatar for you. I think Envato may even use it on their homepage. Enjoy!

I (like many authors) have 2 separate portfolios. Exclusive collection of tracks for audio jungle and a smaller un-exclusive collection which I spread around other websites. Its a lot of work and can be a headache when deciding which portfolio to add to each track to but its worth it for me. I have never uploaded one of my exclusive tracks to another website and thinks its very unfair for others to do that. I realise that its a difficult thing to police but it only takes a few people to be caught and have accounts suspended for others to realise its not worth the risk.

I do believe that the percentage for un-exclusive authors is very poor though. Most sites these days offer un-exclusive authors 50% so I think Audiojungle should do the same.

Hi gyus! Hi Sweetwaveaudio. I’m sorry, but it is not my fault. I am really confused with such search results. That’s strange and I hope developers will fix it soon!! PS. But that’s all about 3-word phrase “uplifting pop-rock”. Try other keywords – everything is fair.

Hey,

I know it’s not your fault, I just noticed that it was pretty unusual. I didn’t try many more search terms so I don’t know about the other results. I just tried a term that I thought would result in my music being found but this wasn’t the case at all. I guess we’ll see what happens. In the mean time, you should encourage people to search for “uplifting pop rock” haha. I’m sure you’ll do well :) Thanks for reply. Really don’t mean to sound like I’m having a go at you.

Hey guys,

I know a lot of people have been noticing drastic sales drops this month, myself included, so I tested the search engine for my music and it’s nowhere to be seen. I have a large number of tracks that contain the words “uplifting pop rock” in description and tags yet I only found 3 or 4 in the first 13 pages! Christmas music which doesn’t have “uplifting pop rock” anywhere is showing up before my tracks and for some reason around pages 7 to 11 almost the entire portfolio from Twisterium is listed whether the tracks are related or not. I’m not having a go at them, just saying its strange. If dubstep and Christmas music show up before my tracks then what’s the point in uploading at all? I’m sure there’s many more people who will be affected by things like this so I hope it’s looked at very soon.

I’ve had a few average weeks recently but I’ve not uploaded anything for a little while compared to normal because I’ve been away. April has started as the slowest month I’ve had since I opened my account. This week especially is on course to be my worst ever week. Very strange. I know sales are unpredictable but when Allegro and Alumo are saying similar things it makes me wonder what’s going on.

I just discovered today that one of my tracks has been used for a new national ad campaign for the UK newspaper The Mirror. A happy/corporate advert with an optical illusion dog. Its a track from my un-exclusive portfolio so it could have been bought from a number of websites. I suspect i probably earned about 10 dollars from it though. Its nice to know big companies like your music but it would also be nice to get a music credit to make up for the tiny amount of cash earned. I suppose thats just how it is though. Someone making a college video can pay the same as a national tabloid newspaper.
