Yeah, the idea was not to have to dig through a bunch of comments to try and figure out how many days ago that was posted.. For people who have a bunch of themes it would be nice to see when updates are scheduled.

Some themes the author states that something will be found in the next update. Would be a great field to add in the themes “Next Update: {date}” and allow the author to edit that field saying when the next update is to be submitted/released.

So I was sitting here thinking about some apps to write to sell based off of some of the admin themes here just because they are getting so awesome.

I was wondering if there was a way that I could write an app based off an admin theme and have some way that for each item I sell that the theme author get his cut automatically. So let’s say I put up a script for $50 and the theme it’s based off of is $14, I get the difference.. so when someone purchases it it’s linked to a theme so they automatically get that theme as well keeping the theme author in the loop.

I probably could’ve written a cliff notes version of this question.. sorry to ramble.

Does this go against any TOS and if not, I’m curious to see if this could be written in automatically at some point.

I stopped reading after the “Let’s compare this to a strip club” ... The bottom line is this.. and don’t mean this to be argumentative; I mean this to be the god’s honest truth.

You will not find better, higher quality, ready-to-use themes on the internet. Period. I know because I’ve looked.

I’ve purchased numerous themes for numerous projects.. designs that I would’ve paid AT LEAST $500 to START (even though I know capital letters don’t exist on the internet, sorry).

So what.. I have to put down $20 to buy a theme that’s $12? Then I have $8 left that I can’t do anything with.. oh poor me..

Wait.. I just bought a theme for TWELVE effing dollars.. are you serious? So I saved $500 something dollars and I’m going to complain about putting down $20?

No, that would be silly.

It doesn’t really fit your description, but since I just uploaded a new admin panel theme here’s the link:

If you like it, feel free to drop me a line through my contact form !

Hi,

Couldn’t use it because too much real estate is being used by your left column but it looks nice! I will send you an E-mail regarding the extended “wish list” so to speak :)

Thanks, Chris

Hi Everyone,

I am in the market to have an admin skin created that will be used with a touchscreen. The design should be simple, yet pretty. A good example of what I mean when I say “pretty” is the eManager theme and “Admin CMS ” is another example.

Should have the following:

1. A content div for a javascript keyboard that has onClick functions for adding to an input field. This should be designed so it can be brought up at the bottom of the page and be hidden as well. So maybe a button at the bottom that would be “Show Keyboard”. On the keyboard page the numeric pad should mimic a keyboard’s numeric pad. (Be on the right. pressing numbers at the top is kind of cumbersome). This also could be brought up when you touch the input box.

2. A set of buttons that I can use to generate a dynamic menu.

3. No columns. The menu bar will be at the top, all site content will be under that. Title bar will have buttons for changing pages. I need as much content space as possible.

4. a. (Main content section) Needs to be tabbed like most themes I see now. Tabs should be big enough to be able to touch with your finger without getting the next one over.

Now since most output will be tables, they need to be kinda big and bubbly. Very similar to many of the themes here, the “controls” options to edit/view/delete/etc should be considerably bigger so you can touch them… and I gots big hands.. :)

These are really my only requirements. Should be interested developing a “theme” for this project I’m working on, please send me a PM. I will give you my budget and timeframe and any other information you may require.

Regards,

Chris
