We tried to release a psd version of one of our wordpress products and it got rejected . PSD is all about design and unique visual/layout stuff. in HTML/WP you have more options.
- align your layout to a baseline grid
- better typorgraphy
- the footer text is not readable
- bundle a sign up script with your theme
hope it helps,
Hello, I really like your design but I think envato is pushing us to come up with more variations. I think it isn’t enough anymore to have perfect typology + alignment + color … in the one page niche.
probably in wp category you can come up with some unique features and they will let you in. In psd I think you will need custom made elements (photoshop).
- I’m not the guy with the design from tagdiv ~radu
To me it looks like the layout has alignment/baseline issues. a small example: http://screencast.com/t/8nSpKajiZzgf
I also think that the market is almost full with one page layouts. It’s a little easier to make them then another niche themes and a lot of authors are releasing one pages. Bring something new and very useful to the clients in your theme and it will be accepted more easly.
I hope this helps, Radu
I believe you are not providing a complete solution. Your html theme has a very narrow use case. Research your market and add some features for that market. (shop integration + blog ? – I don’t really know what works for one pages but your theme looks like a template to sell stuff)
I really like your design ... probably some custom made elements (photoshop) will help you get in easier.
- better typography
- the top menu looks bad
- the submenu from the menu looks very bad
- the slider looks outdated
I think that the theme is aligned ok but the typography and color scheme makes it look outdated.
wp or html? The theme looks a little bit too simple and tf already has a lot of themes like this
Hello, the theme looks like is not polished. I don’t like the fonts, the color palette and especially the usability. For a shop is very hard to use as a client. The fluid layout doesn’t work well with shops a lot of the clicks on products go to a modal window instead to the actual product etc…
I hope this helps and don’t get mad on me ~TD
