Is it ok if we create a game using Adobe Edge Animate? And not using any game frameworks? Ali
Interesting idea. So would you create the game in Edge and then submit to the HTML5 Category?

Yes :)

Thanks. let’s hope for the best.

Are you sure Indegogo is backed by Google? Is there any evidence of that? I know they partnered together with some others …

hmm, that was what I thought initially but I doubt it now. anyway, it’s a verified site as far as I know. so I think you’re right.

First off, good luck with it. Just a tidbit of advice: Maybe present a clear and present goal/focus of the app, instead of all the different attributes (like on this part: http://thmbns.co/TJ0o). Seems that the apps that are clearly focused tend to do much better in the long run.

thanks for the input. actually our intention is to build the app itself and considering that it has a lot of features, I had to talk about them all. maybe we should have focused on small features of the app first… this is our first shot with indiegogo anyway. if it works, that’s great and we will start building and if it does not, we will surly create smaller campaigns to build smaller parts first and then put everything together…

Guys, please look at the dates of posts before writing :)

Ruben, that’s ok I think :) Good links have been shared on this post… Authors who have this problem can get some ideas…

And after these 2 years, we could actually upload designs to PSD category… To be honest, when I myself look at my old designs that I was trying to get them uploaded, I laugh :))

They were not that professional that I thought they were!

So if there is anyone who is right now trying to upload designs to PSD category, don’t worry if your designs get rejected one after another… it’s just because they are not still good enough. Go and study about web designing and typography stuff… and then get back, uploading a web design is not just about having a good looking design, it should also follow the typography rules.

Also one thing that I myself were doing wrong, was that I couldn’t close my eyes on my rejected design and start a new one because I have put lots of time on it! don’t be afraid to put your rejected designs in the trash if the rejection reason was so huge! Start fresh with a brand new idea…

Actually this is how it works: If you love what you have done at the end, be sure that others love it too and you can get accepted :)

Backed by google? It’s got one backer “Joanne T” the creator of the Indiegogo campaign.

I’m saying the Indiegogo site is backed by Google not our campaign :) It’s actually about a couple of hours that our campaign is launched…

Hi developers and designers,

We have just launched a campaign on Indiegogo site which is backed by Google. About our new project which we really think is going to change the world. It’s a mobile app for restaurants, a kind of social network but not limited to that! You may learn more about it here: http://igg.me/at/kindchef/x/4836930

Honestly, there are two reasons why I am talking about it here:
1) we have introduced some perks, called Web developer’s perks, which if you choose, then we will send you many different designs and code snippets that we will be using while building the project which they will surely help you a lot in your own projects.

2) the second reason is to spread the word about the campaign because we won’t be able to change the world if people are not supporting the idea… so if you even just share it you have helped us a lot.

I hope this post is not looking like a shameless self-promotion. I never do that :) it’s just that the idea is so big and revolutionary that I think it does sound righteous to talk about it and may be interesting for all of us as web developers.

Please visit the link above and find more information about it for yourself.

The most important way that you can help us, is by sharing the campaign link with your friends.

Please feel free to ask any questions,
Best,
MyFlashlab team.

I have a cool announcement to make! couple of weeks ago I had promised an android app on the forum and now it’s ready. I’m calling it V1.0 as I am going to do a lot of upgrades as time goes so it will be as informative as possible. talking about it is a shameless self-promotion I guess but I think I deserve it as I have been working on it for 6 months :)

check out the app here: http://extras.envato.com/mobile-apps/my-market-app/

I have also developed a totally free php ticket system by which you can manage your buyers! they can create a ticket with providing their purchase id and you will know that they have purchased your item and they are asking for help.

this ticket system comes with a knowledge base which you can create articles or FAQ pages about your items. This will increase the trust of your buyers for sure.

here you can download the ticket system: http://extras.envato.com/services/my-market-ticket-system/

and on top of these, if you have the ticket system and the app, you can join them together and you will have a lot of cool features in your app! I have talked about these features in the app.

please help yourself and download these two applications. I’m sure you’ll love them as our goal in this market is mainly making high quality software with a good support and having the right tools will do the job efficiently.

Please let me know what do you think about these two applications and if there are any features you’d like to be added, please do let me know and if it’s not already in my to-do list, I will add it.

Regards, MyFlashLab Team
