I agree with him, mostly just typography and spacing/alignment issues. Possible a bit weak on available features/pages compared to others in that market.

- Color scheme does not work

- Multiple english typos

- Inconsistent caps/non-caps on some titles

- Bad logo

- LOTS of problem on different responsive breakpoints

Every theme Ive seen rejected with automated messages, is VERY obvious why it was rejected. If you sit down for a few minutes to really look at your theme and compare it to many of the top themes, its very evident whats missing.

Usually always related to:

- Poor quality overall

- Poor typography

- Inconsistent alignments/padding/margins

I’m a very experienced designer + front-end developer and am now looking to start coding my own WP themes!

I’m curious whats the best resource to begin my journey down that path, considering I have the knowledge stated above and a few months of dedicated time. Are there any top notch ebooks that teach how to install a theme into one of the best frameworks?

What is the most popular framework among the most popular selling themes? (Not counting the ones they made on their own)

Thanks!

There is a lot more than typography that needs to be done as well. There are alignment issues and other problems.

Its basically just bootstrap with some color changes and font-awesome icons. No real customization or theme here.

I would suggest highly studying some of the top theme for a few months and hone your skills a bit more.

We would just make you a full time employee under the company in order to get the visa. Piece of cake.

The sites are not up, because I’m not going to design them unless I find the right developer. Otherwise the business will take a turn and become a different type of site.

I’ll show my work privately, as lot of work for big clients can’t just be posted publicly on forums.

Hello,

I’m looking to either hire hourly/fixed or partner (if you are worthy!) with an amazing Wordpress Developer. I’m a designer/front-end developer with 10+ years of full-time experience and over 300 sites created. I’m able to design any website you have seen and make it fully responsive.

I own Tempatebase.com and Maxtemplates.com which will be used as a catalog and support portal for our themeforest portfolio.

Anyone interested please message me or email john@templatebase.com

PS: Bonus points if you are willing to relocate some day to Knoxville, TN.
