We all want to receive the money soon but maybe there are other things on Envato’s side. However, just… please don’t be later than the 15th because to many authors the income from Marketplace affects a lot to their lives and the family.

Guys, come on! Envato made its marketplaces very open for new authors. (Less then a year ago it was IMPOSSIBLE to get to ThemeForest with generic looking item. Most of items were really unique. And getting to PSD category was THE EVENT for any author :D )

You’ve read the ThemeForest user agreement, right? Don’t forget that Envato does not owe you anything. Nobody is saying that if you will spend some time on creating something it will 100% be accepted to ThemeForest. It’s nothing personal: entrepreneurship is always = certain risks. How can you blame reviewers in it?

Stop childish complains and get back to work. You HAVE skills and talent to be approved.

Agree :)

In my opinion, if you do not want to give credits to the original creator of the photo but you still want to use that image, then you need to buy it via Getty Images.

Most likely that it is only necessary to buy it if you cannot comply with the restrictions given under Creative Commons licence.
What about using it but you cropped it. Is it allowed?
Again, as in the licence page (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/deed.en ), you are free to remix (to adapt the work). Hence, I believe that cropping is a form of adaptation as well, and is permitted by the licence.

Thanks billyf for the info :)

How about this http://www.flickr.com/photos/rogueinteriordesigns/4843216091/ is that allowed to use without permission?
If you click at the licence, you will be redirected to this page : http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/deed.en According to that page, you can make commercial use of it but you must attribute the work
Okay, but what about “Request to license rogue-designs’ photos via Getty Images”? This make me unsure.

Not according to the license: “All right reserved”. Either ask the author, or search for Creative Commons licensed work.

How do we know if it’s allowed to use?

I submitted a ticket regarding this in customer support, seems that they ignore my feedback. I don’t know why.

I noticed that when an admin template have so many icons have higher price than other templates with good looking but only few icons with many pages.

I have an admin template submitted only few icons but many pages and in my documentation I discussed there how to add more icons from a third party using the same design. I even have nice tinymce custom style that no one in admin author here did it and in fact tinymce is the most popular wysiwyg editor in the net. Creating custom style in tinymce is tricky thing to do.

Another obvious is my first template have higher price than my latest template and the latest is obviously have many pages and features compare to the first. what happened?

Does the reviewer decide the price based on icons? I feel that there’s something wrong in here. I’m confused.
