As Zeplix suggested, idealy you start diggin into Painter, Corel developed that software specifically for complex digital drawings and illustrations and is the ideal software for your needs to start digital painting. Also idealy you have one of the Cintiq family tablets of Wacom.

I am using payoneer card for more than 3 years now. So glad Envato also partnered with Payoneer to offer authors another withdrawal option. I can access my funds instantly from any ATM once the funds are loaded to the card.

As for PayPal…is not the best option for withdrawing funds if you not USA or Canada located. There is still chance to withdraw your PayPal funds to Payoneer via the Virtual Bank Account that payoneer offers for a small fee…i think Nissim can clarify this for anyone interested.

DesignByHumans (http://designbyhumans.com) can be a good company to partner with when it comes to quality printing, shipping and customer support. Got several t-shirts from them, print quality and customer support rocks…no hassle. Maybe someone from staff can talk to the guys at DBH to see if there is some way to partnership. Example, envato can provide the designs, and DBH print and process orders+shipping.

An idea to get authors involved…maybe run a t-shirt design competition and best 3 designs get printed.

Lance, due to the nature of the product (logo template), there will be no way “the money will build with quantity”, hence, there will be no quantity. I dont believe even the best logo item will make more than 10 sales at all. In that case, how the author will be able to earn back the efforts with a few sales of $10 logo template? Also, i think we sometimes mix-up things and forget what we are actually selling…visual communication designers (graphic, web, illustration, etc) sell two things – ideas and time. Considering the number of purchases a logo template may reach, i’m thinking, why spend my time and provide my ideas for $10…is it really worth?...are ideas today that cheap?

The only way i see logo category function is, offer only 1 time purchase, basically enable only the exclusive licence for logo items and make sure the pricing is right. This way you as envato, you wont risk your reputation, and you may add another ”+” to the company’s sucessful projects. $10 logo templates will not make bigg difference at envato’s bank, but it can hurt envato’s reputation as a whole and you may lose not only some good authors, but also ongoing buyers.

Trust me, me personaly i’m not excited and from the comments i can see many others are not excited to. I think when you guys have a meeting next time, you should stop guessing how much money you can put with this new category into envato’s bank and drop the calcultators…then try to think and plan this category from author point of view…then i am sure you will add some value to this idea

this was really needed, congrats to all authors with flyer templates in their portfolios…i assume with this upgrade, we will now dive into flyers fury again…cant wait to see the homepage stuffed with flyer templates
