BTW to all apple haters. Holding two identical iPhones in my hand: one with iOS 7 another with iOS 8. One with iOS 8 works smoother and faster ;)

Same here :) holding two iPhone 5S’s, 16 and 32gb versions though. Mine is running iOS 8 and my fiancee’s is still on iOS 7. Made some tests to check it out before I update it. One with iOS 8 is running a bit better, less waiting for stuff to open, 100% smooth animations etc. Nothing too spectacular but it is noticable.

no, what I’m trying to say is that I’m using the phone as an extension of my computer to carry around stuff for my work.

ah okay :) well yeah, it might be a problem in that case

I work with videos, you have no idea how quick you get out of space

To be honest, I don’t :) .. I am using my Canon 70D for videos – It wasn’t made by Apple so it has that holy SD-card slot XD :D

Videos on my phone are pretty much never anything else but shorts – Which I guess the phone camera was made for :)

I am not trying to defend apple, yes they have some weird politics with their hardware, but I learned to respect that. I am using iPhones just for the reason that I grow to like the OS – it is stable, it is closed (which is not always a bad thing, who would say?) and it does everything that I want it to. For few bucks more over other flagship phones I get perfect design (still hating the iPhone6 though), great build quality and enough power to run what I need it to run.

Quality over quantity – it was like that for me always.

About the storage.. I still have no idea who needs more then 32/64gb storage on a phone/tablet and for what reason.

Then I’ve checked the ipad. Turns out I could not add external memory cards at the time. Like really? I can’t buy those cheap memory card to store photos or music or videos? Even a 40$ chinese tablet had that feature and you can’t add it? Great innovation thinking right there. Did they finally added this feature for the latest models? Don’t know but knowing apple they probably didn’t. Did the latest iphone let you add an external memory card?

Why would you need or even want something cheap and external for those things when you have 64 or 128 GB of storage available? Keep it simple, remember? :)

You simply do not keep that much data on the phone / tablet. I am using 32GB models and I never even reached half of it before I moved it all to my PC/Mac.

On the other side, it is understandable for those cheap chinese tablets with 4gb of internal storage to have an sd-card available…

Anyway, we went way way offtopic here :D

My iPhone works great on iOS8 but really…. like miseld said “nothing new” :) (i like the the new multi-tasking screen though)

No, when user has old android, he can stay on this system as long as he wants to stay on it. His system will be the same, not faster, not slower. But with iOS you MUST update your iphone and your system becoming slower and slower and slower. And new iphones and new iOS becoming more uglier and uglier. :)

Why would you have to update it? :) Together with iPhone 5S (on iOS8), I still have iOS6 on my old iPhone4 and it is working normally. No one forces you to update if you do not want it.

there is this theory that I think it may be true.

apple release new phone -> apple update the OS for previous phones -> previous phones don’t work as fast as before (slow, various issues, lot of stress for users) -> users decides is time to buy a new phone -> buys new iphone because brand, stuck with purchased apps on apple close marketplace system, not willing to learn a new operating system

apple -> profit $$$$$

At least they support their old phones for more then a year, compared to Android market :D where it is usually like this: user buys a new android phone (1 out of 20000000 different variations) -> new android os releases in 2 months -> user gets an update in a year or user never gets an update in most of the cases -> users is stuck on old software, decides it is time to buy a new phone -> buys new android phone because he is used to have everything as he wants -> samsung/sony/lg/xyz profit $$$$$

I am honestly really disappointed with this. And no one has the decency to update us with what is going on?

We had someone review few items yesterday night (CET) for like an hour or so… but then again half the items from Monday are still in the review queue. Something must be going on and it is not good.

Worked so hard to introduce my new models as soon as they were on the market and then some “internal” problem from Envato ruined my plans.. not for a day, but almost 4 days now :(

Can we, please, get some words on the matter?

Is there some holiday in Australia or something? :) I can see that there was no item reviews for last two days, which is kinda unusual for 3docean. Normally it is getting updated daily (around 09:00-12:00am CET) and now my crucial future bestsellers are stuck in review for two days. I am losing days of exposition and sales this way :( – already got customers waiting for long enough.

EDIT: Just to clarify, it isn’t only about my queued items, it is about general review time for people selling on 3docean since nothing got updated for 2 days.
