Hope your all well and having a fab day? I have a question that im hoping someone can help with.
Here is my problem.
1 – I have a live Ecommerce website using WordPress and WooCommerce, this site is taking daily orders, and customers are registering too.
2 – I’m working on a new version of the website on my local environment which includes a new theme, and re-arrangement of the categories within the online store.
I believe the website update is going to take a number of weeks to complete, and obviously over this time the DB I have on my local machine will be incredibly out of date compared to the one on the live site. What I mean by this is “Customer Orders, Accounts, etc”.
Is there a plugin or tool I can use that can automatically keep the WooCommerce DB on my local host up to date with the live site? So lets say in two weeks time when the new website goes live, all customer orders, data etc will be current.
Sorry if this seems a really silly question, but ive been racking my brains the last few days with this and haven’t found a solution as of yet! haha
Email sent mate
Could you email me @ gillman56[at] googlemail.com so I can send a few q’s and a quote over.Thanks
Im looking for someone to create a custom theme for me that is similar to this site.
The site im developing is going to be for an online radio website. The client loves the rounded corners of the site and the bright vibrant colours. We currently have a logo designed, all we need now is the theme
Feel free to contact me directly with your quote for the work.
As mentioned above, im looking for the design, and coding done for this project.
This month i have hit a milestone with my website project – www.housemusicpodcasts.co.uk
Im now in a position where i need to take the site to the next level by making some improvements!
One of the key things is organising the content correctly. Im looking for someone to work on this site, who is confident they can make the site look really good!!! I love the existing design, but im aware its going to need modifications!
I would also like to implement the social networking plugin “Mingle” into the site for user interaction etc.
Please feel free to contact me if you feel you are upto the job, and give me an idea on your hourly rate. Im free to talk on skype too
I have rather an exciting project here if you guys are interested in Music and Podcasting.
Anyway this is a personal project of mine. 8 months ago i setup an exclusive podcasting website to promote exclusive house music mixes across the world. The site has become a huge success over the last 6 months, and is on route to exceeding 50,000 visitors this month.
The site has been developed using WordPress, and is using a plugin called “PowerPress” to deliver the podcasts. The template has been purchased as a complete package, which im prepared to have changed but would like to keep the same colours etc.
Ideally i would like to convert the site into a Magazine style of website keeping the existing colours and design elements if possible.
The situation is, its time to take the website to the next level and provide more interaction for our visitors but to also expand into new area’s.
This is the website at the moment. – http://housemusicpodcasts.co.uk/
The site is fairly clean, and works well but we would like to implement a number of new features to the website.
1 – Better visitor profiles i.e. pictures and brief biogs 2 – Ability for registered visitors to only be able to podcast the shows. If the visitor is not registered they can only listen to the shows on the site. 3 – More advertising spaces across the site. 4 – Making the navigation more simpler 5 – Having images and brief descriptions on our artists page (http://housemusicpodcasts.co.uk/artists) 6 – The ability for artists to submit their own tracklistings via the admin pages. i.e. Individual artists will be set to a new user level to accomodate this. 7 – A list of scrolling members who have registered to the website
Other features we would like to have on the home page specifically are the following:
1 – News Articles 2 – competitions 3 – Interviews 4 – Latest Charts 5 – Events
At the moment any post we add to the site, whether it being a podcast or an event comes up with Podcast and itunes subscribe features. The way we have added competitions, and interviews is a bit messy and ideally i would like to improve this. The same applies to the Artists page.
The key thing we need to do is to keep the SEO aspect of the site intact. Our SERP are doing exceptionally well within Google at the moment.
We love the existing template, but would be prepared to make some changes to this to accommodate any new features and improved functionallity.
Im looking forward to hearing your thoughts and recommendations going forward, please feel free to contact me with any quotations….
