Is there a way to ask reviewers some questions? I submitted a module but the documentations turned out to be “a little lacking” – even though I followed all the best practices from Drupal.org.

It seems that the reply I got was just a generic template. For example,

“Most importantly, remember that buyers may not be technically inclined. They may just be looking for an item to drop into their existing code base.”

But I did include instructions! (even though anyone who’s working with Drupal probably knows all that anyway). It seems the reviewers didn’t even read the documentation.

Hey,

Maybe you need to make the documentation a bit less complicated? Or maybe the item just is to “hard” to install for someone who does not use Drupal that often.

I submitted my verry small module today to!

Problem with Drupal on a marketplace is: More advanced users are using Drupal compared to the users of wordpress.

Drupal can do alot with views only and there are many modules available trought the community.

Some tips:

If you want to make a module, try it first with views, or with another module.

Is it complicated and can you make it dynamic and easy? Go for it.

In all other cases: Stop, it wont sell.
