I don’t have such line. Is it OK?
Yes, Envato removed queue progress bar from author dashboard some time ago. However, there is an extension for Google Chrome that brings it back.
Is it accurate or it’s just for the looks?

I believe it is mostly for the looks and for those of us who are nostalgic about the “good old days” :D

The official statement, when they removed the progress bar, is that they did it exactly because it stopped being accurate after certain back-end changes to the review system.

I wouldn’t bother with H.264 unless there’s some specific reason you need to, so that leaves you with ProRes or Photo JPEG.

Well, H.264 is the best option if your camera outputs footage in H.264. In that case I don’t see any real benefit of reencoding into different codecs.

I had a weird issue happened these days. My items got reviewed, but one of the items is left in the queue and it says it’s uploaded 18 hours ago – however, I uploaded it more than a week ago.

Noticeably worse than previous month(s)... I guess it’s a bad combo of holidays, summer and slowness of envato sites due to ddos attack.

Yup, a lot of PhotoDune (and since recently, even VideoHive) reviewers are from Hungary, as it seems :)

Thanks for the badge :) I also got it ;)

However, it is so awesome that when I press the “That’s awesome!” button, it does nothing and popup notification about badge stays there until I cancel it by clicking on the “X” button :)

(it happened before as well, a few weeks ago when I got some other badge)

I guess it would be at least polite to address this once again, even if just to give another generic “we’re working on it” statement, don’t you think?

It’s been many weeks now since the review time is longer than 2 weeks.

Can we get an official statement from somebody from the staff, at least about what is being done to rectify this chaos? I believe we deserve to know if and when the situation will be back to normal, because it influences our workflow(s).

Yup, same. It seems like it has to do something with site outages (see here: http://videohive.net/forums/thread/intermittent-site-outages/183714 )

Be patient, hopefully it will be settled

(At least) two possible reasons:
  • first reviewer missed something hard-rejection worthy and then the second one saw it and rejected your item,
  • second reviewer made a mistake.

Whatever the reason, your best option is to post directly to support. They will forward your ticket to the reviewing team and then they will see whether there was a mistake or if it was justified hard-rejection.
