Hi all,

I’m currently doing a research for a uni project. I’ve been googling around, looking for sites that offers editable stock templates similar to GraphicRiver for comparison (e.g.: flyers template in PSD , resume layouts in INDD , even presentation files in PPT ). Strangely I don’t find many of them. The only result that relevant as a comparison to GraphicRiver is []

Link(s) removed

Sites like [] or [] do sell business card or flyer templates as well, but they fall under Vectors category, not dedicated Business Card or Flyer category like in GraphicRiver. The rest that I found are mostly stock photography or stock footage sites.

Is Graphicriver one of a kind for such files? Do you guys know any other sites that I probably miss?

It’s a yearly audiovisual event in London, UK. http://www.onedotzero.com/onedotzero-adventures-in-motion-festival-2011/event/

Since I currently resides in Newcastle, UK right now, I can’t afford to lose the chance to come and see this fabulous thing happening.

So, who’s coming? ;)

@timmcmorris: Thanks for the nice words, Tim! I’m really looking forward to see what you will write about the community. Keep us updated! :)

@soundroll: you have one hell of a jobs-list right there. Just like what i’m dreaming of :p and with those businesses you still have time to write for AJ, that’s quite impressive. thanks anyway, Dmitry. I’m still ‘tasting’ everything right now, and one day i will decide one industry for me to stick in ;)

Well, maybe can try this.

http://www.minimumnoise.com/

They post specific music needs for their projects, and you compete with others musicians, so if you win you get the money.

Hope it helps.

A new thing for me too. Thanks Sonicbyte!

1. How many of you have committed to doing the same (Full time, almost full time on AJ, or are “trying” to be full time? Almost full time. I try to post new files regularly but my job and college stuffs prevent me to :( i always amazed with some authors that managed to upload new files regularly. soundroll is one of em ;)

2. Do you have any type of success story?(sales etc) and what inspires you to compose? I don’t have any success story. Audio Jungle is the first time I got paid for music. I’m just being very grateful for figuring out this community. What inspires me to compose….anything. Simply anything. I can sit down with the keyboard on my face while holding a guitar (while stepping on drum pedals while hitting cymbals – lol no i’m not that freak) trying to find new melodies. But basically what inspires me is you people. Your works. I can spend hours listening to other authors’ portfolio, bookmarking stuffs for personal pleasure :D

3. Have any of you made good contacts from AJ that have led to greater work, or been contacted by larger name companies / producers who liked your material and wanted to work with you? Yes, but this is kind of unusual. I’ve found a client off Audio Jungle. A band, looking forward to release their first EP. They want me to help them produce, arrange, and write songs. So there I go, having a project with them. Along the way, it turned out that the vocalist of that band (which was the one who contacted me) has a design studio. They just open up Web Development division and has no one to handle web design. She saw my website, and found out that I work in the design industry as well. She got super excited and asked me to work for her design studio. And that is the first time I got steady income. I’ve been working for a year with her now, both doing web design and to produce her band’s new album :) :) that’s quite a big leap in my career.

Writing this post makes me sob :crying: it’s so touchy :crying:

lol kidding.
