I am sure KingDog will lock if not remove this thread as soon as possible but for those who do get to read it I have the following:

Dear Envato Authors, Through 6 years now on Envato I have seen some incredible work done and I for one applaud you. However, since the hay days of Flash, Envato has continued to decline in both authors quality of product and Envato customer service. They say it only takes one apple to spoil the bunch and unfortunately Envato has more than one bad Apple hanging from the tree. It has become very clear to me and others that Envato has forgot about the first rule of a business – Your customers.

I spent Friday cleaning out my account on here on some things that I have wanted from some really great authors so that I could zero out the account. I like many other’s, will no longer spend a single dollar on any Envato run sites. I have had ticket #98444 open for over a week now and not a single response has been made to it outside of a very nice person from the media department for Envato because I started to include every email address I could find to obtain a response. Yeah, rather sad.

It’s to the point that numerous sites that are very creditable are even starting to make comments about the support here.

http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/specific_search/envato http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Envato

Even Wikipedia has a section dedicated to how bad the support is.

“Customer Support The Envato network has a long history of complaints from customers. Ripoff Report is full of numerous complaints with the company. [15]”

Some of you will agree, some will not and that is to be expected. I am sure that KingDog who appears to be a teenager however I digress, will post a bunch of excuses as to how it’s not their fault and how it’s mine and lock the thread. More power to him.

For the authors out there who do provide quality works of art, I say thank you very much. Your work is highly appreciated. Unfortunately, the pool you swim in is tainted and as a customer I can no longer chance as if I am at a Vegas card table weather or not I will receive something of quality as advertised or not. It has become a 50/50 shot and I no longer like the odds.

Going forward…. I will start to seek out some of you who I and many others see as quality authors and if you have your own website, will buy direct from there if possible.

So let the responses start and / or SuperDog or MadDog or whatever his name is uses his super powers to lock the thread of a paying customer. I will not respond as this will be my final post.

RIP Envato. We had some great times. Time to move on.

Because I know how many members are here, 5 days doesn’t look to me a long time for complaining. I guess max 30 days of waiting for solution looks to me OK. But I understand that everybody has own idea about time length.

Understood, I am just so frustrated with this company. They claim to check all code, functionality, etc… before allowing items for sale but once again I made a purchase of an item that is buggy as does not work as advertised. Even the author after much complaining placed a disclaimer on the description AFTER my purchase. The reputation of Envato for what it once was when Flash was hot is not the same today.

“Support requests are not handled by phone. Open a ticket quickly and easily at support.envato.com and we’ll endeavour to respond within 24 hours.”

I would like my refund please. See ticket #98444. Done sitting with no reply.

“Thank you for your email to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) about Envato Pty Ltd. Your reference number for this matter is 705232.”

I did not say I opened multiple support tickets. I said I have a ticket open that has not been acknowledged and that I will start emailing once an hour to see if I can get any response at all.
I am sorry, I said that in response to when you said “I am at the point now to where I am going to start sending emails once an hour”.

np :-)

They look alive to me. :)

Opening multiple support tickets will just slow it down even more for others. It takes up to one week (sometimes longer) for a response from Envato Support.

And don’t worry, you’re not alone in the struggle: pretty much every author here has to deal with Envato Support’s slow response times.

I did not say I opened multiple support tickets. I said I have a ticket open that has not been acknowledged and that I will start emailing once an hour to see if I can get any response at all.

Maybe that’s the problem. Too much time on twitter.

Really? “This forum message is currently being reviewed.” Don’t you have something better to do.

I am really starting to lose my patients. Envato sites used to be great. Quality was awesome, Envato actually checked things before allowing them on the market. I guess those days are over. I have been through 3 purchase, all buggy and clearly were not checked. This last one is the worst! It’s to the point that I had to make a deal with the author on CodeCanyon that if he added “Not compatible with IOS and or Android” I would at least give him a 3 star rating. I requested a refund 3 days ago and have not heard back a single work. I am at the point now to where I am going to start sending emails once an hour. It’s just ridiculous. There are some really great authors on here, but there are also a bunch now that are out just to make a quick buck and the crap they are selling is not what they advertise. I really don’t think things are checked very well anymore which is very unfortunate.

So I ask, is anyone alive out there from Envato Support? Hello? Can you hear me? You know, one of the many customers that helps support this site… Hello? How many of us have to stop making purchases here before the service improves? Hello? Is anyone there?

Ticket – Unique ID 98444

This is probably the same person I made the mistake of buying from….. Trying to get a refund from Envato so that I can purchase yours which I should have done in the first place. Problem is, Envato support is a ghost town. Been trying for 3 days to get them to answer my ticket.
