I’m trying to do a project with multiple layers with the shatter effect, all in the same comp. But well, it is just not possible, at least in a normal way. I mean create a layer, apply shatter, create a camera, duplicate that layer and try to move it down to have another shattering layer below.
Anyone knows if there is way to make this? I mean moving it for real, not just faking it.
as long as the images are small enough and I make no linebreak between the two codes, it works for me just using<img src="imageurl" />
Thanks for your answer. I forgot to mention that images have links.
So, I try without links and it worked well, but with links the image to the right just jumps down. I don’t have a clue why
Very sad for his family
But it is not all bad for him. He now can fly around without any vehicles!
I’m trying for a while to put some images in a row in the description. There are html tags that just don’t work (like div’s) so I can’t do that in a regular way…
What is the best method to put images side to side?
I’m using this wonderfull service last 1.5 years:
So just generate links with your google analitics ID and add invisible picture into each of your page. Then you can see the statistics. It’s limited (not each report works) but still good tool.Best Regards, Andrey
Thank you so much Andrey.
Definitely I’m going to take a look at that tool. Because to be honest tools that Envato offers to non Elite authors are to limited (if not worse). If they allow “regular” authors to use Analytics everyone would benefit, because we could improve the promoting on popular items, update the non so popolar and all that good stuff. Obviously that would increase sales, and more customers, authors and of course Envato would be happier. Anyway, this looks really interesting!
Thanks for sharing!
I’m not sure if profile pages are so important at all.
My google analitics stat for the 1 year (Nov 27, 2012 – Nov 28, 2013) is:
50,950 total page views
1,165 profile pageviews which is just around 2%.
Navigations from the profile page to some other page of mine: 201
Navigations from some of my page to profile page: 175
What does it mean from practical side and how much profile page affects sales?
If my current conversion rate is around 27 page views per 1 sale then I have just around 8 sales additionally initiated from my profile page (201/27) and these 8 sales are just 0.4% of total sales for the period.
Are you agree?
I’m still maintaining profile page but from numbers perspective it’s useless.
Anyone have better stat?
Very interesting data that you have there.
I thought that only Elite Authors could be able to use Analytics on Envato… How do you use them?! Please give a hint!
Really, I want to know how to do that, I have a kind of obsession with stadistics Can you please give some advise?
Most probably because of either A: they don’t understand the license themselves, or B they want to have more sales by allowing the users to make use of the assets. Which is kind of against the rules, as giving away something for essentially free is not allowed here.
But when the author says you can use it in your own projects (and as many times as you like) then you have the permission you need. So when in doubt, always contact the author.PS: I think cyzer had too much cola
Thank you Creattive for your reply. I think you’re absolutly right.
I posted this thread basically for a little idea that I have. Please look at this example below:
I want to make a template about money (just as an example) and that project will have 3 money compositions or assets. So, I want to make a money motion graphics pack too, after the project is done. Can I take instead the motion graphics pack and upload it with the template as ONE item under the AE project’s section?
So, in that way, I will give buyers “rights” to use the assets just like if they had purchased the pack in the motion section. Then, they will have license for each item (asset) included in the pack to use it for one end product.
And all this because I’m giving them permission to use it in that way. But in “regular items” they just can’t use the assets. Am I right?
what I meant is that if I buy a template with assets I cant take those assets and use them with my own template and sell it.
SO THIS EXAMPLE IS PERFECT!!!!!1111111
Ok my friend, I got your point, but there is not need to use the H4 tag… lol
Just kidding, thanks for replying
I buy a cocacola bottle. Is that bottle mine? Yes. Does it belong to me by law ? Yes. Ok now i drink all the cola from the bottle. Is that empty bottle mine? Yes. Can i start making my own drink, por it into the bottle and sell it ? No. Why ? Because its copyrighted by colas company.
That is an interesting example. But then why exactly there are authors offering the assets like a feature on a AE template?
Offering in the sense that the buyer can use on their own project (literally)
Weeks ago I saw an awesome author (ELITE author actually) and all the projects that he has had inside a great pack of 4K footage (at the same time used on the project). He has a lot sales, and I think it is obvious that is in part because the awesome asset’s pack that you will get when you buy the template.
So, what exactly is the equivalent to this on your cola-cola’s example? Actually that example isn’t so good because the drink itself is like the AE template, so an asset would be maybe the caffeine that it contains? Anyway, not a good example.
But at least it was funny…
