Guys i having a problem of images distortion in Android Ecilips Emulator, I make design for tablet (1280×800) and i sliced the images and gave to my android app developer friend , now when he import template image in xml file and run the application the images are show so small and distort. I make 256×256 res image with 160 dpi which is original theme size icon images and its not look fine in emulator but when i double the 4x means 800×800 the icon size with the 320dpi… .its look fine..

Now i am confuse if 200px image need to made in 800px image then the whole template size will 4 time larger.

So guys this the way Android designing or i am doing wrong.?

Yeah i know, But my requirement is i need .png image in 160dpi. But photoshop not exporting properly.

Just make it 2842×1776

:P….......... I want each n every big/small all images in 160dpi.

Yup.. i tested that thing but no luck!

I need to make a android tablet design in photoshop , .png , 1280×800px, 160 dpi. I open new file, set those parameters, choose the PNG24, and save for web device. now , when i right click on picture, properties, i see that its only 32 Bit Depth showing, no any dpi details shown like jpg images shows dpi details! Now , my question is: How can i save it as 160 dpi?

Any Idea guys.
