I’m running Mint XFCE and love it. I feel safe, better performance, grep is invaluable for developers and you just get a warm fuzzy feeling while using open source software. I dual-boot windows 7 for games / IE testing.
The biggest pain about Linux is software bugs, proprietary drivers and hardware problems, you can end up sinking a lot of time into something, when all you want to do is focus on your work. This has made me change back to Windows in the past but this time around I have had very few problems with Mint for the last 6 months~
If I was dependent on PS, that could be a deal breaker…
When I used WP eCommerce 10 months~ ago, it was full of bugs… I don’t see any benefit to using it over Woo/Jigo.
Just my 2 cents.
Steve Jobs isn’t talking about slapping together some HTML markup.

Ah, ok.
How about something like:
jQuery(".sofb .btn").click(function() {
var link = jQuery(this).attr("href");
var newDescription = jQuery("#id_of_awesome_description_element").val();
var linkParts = link.split("&description=");
var linkParts2 = linkParts[1].split("&redirect_uri=");
link = linkParts[0] + "&description=" + newDescription + "&redirect_uri=" + linkParts2[1];
jQuery(this).attr("href", link);
});Not too sure what you mean but…

Somehow, allow user to edit that description element, so that the href string gets updated ( live on page ) so when they click the button, the new description is used.
jQuery(".sofb .btn").click(function() {
jQuery(this).attr("href", jQuery("#id_of_awesome_description_element").val());

The “Desktop” activity on my KDE environment with open terminal (yes, it’s more common on Linux)
I love me some grep.

In New Zealand, we have had something similar for a while (3 strikes).
The title of the article is misleading, your ISP is not spying on you (as far as we know). There is a reason it is P2P networks only, content owners connect to torrents and record the IP’s of everyone in the USA seeding the pirated file and then send a notice onto your ISP.

While I’m against piracy on filesharing digital artworks, I actually don’t mind at all software piracy. Most of usFrom my point of viewwouldn’t nowadays be able to use any specific programs on design or otherwise. Since the pricing on this kind of software is notably high mostly always. Wouldn’t you guys agree?
Yeah, who cares about coders not profiting from their hard work, as long as it doesn’t affect me!

Well, my humble opinion is – that if you want to comment about an item that is insecure, you should do that from author’s contact form, not in item’s comments. You know well that buyers(customers) read the comments and such a comment influences the sales a lot (in a negative way). So, doing that in the comments might sound a bit malicious…
If the author refuses to respond, it’s only fair that future customers who are more naive about code and potential exploits are warned.
The author can always fix the problems and reply to the comment, so people know it has been resolved.

Jordan_M saidSame response with both FF and Chrome, I’m using Linux so maybe that has something to do with it… oh well.
