You’re a nerd! :-p

I suppose you’re right…. :P

Thinking back I should say in a FlashDen file, I have had a freelance project or two where people specifically requested certain libs be used, but I was always very against it. I’d much rather make my own and know it inside and out :)

If you buy a car, will you re-invent your wheels or use those who have been invented by somebody else “few” years ago? :D

I know it is frustrating, but if a file could possibly be in violation of copyright, we have to take it down at least until the situation is figured out. This is not an assault on anyone’s integrity. This is to protect the author as well as FlashDen. If it turns out to be a misunderstanding, the file gets replaced. Unfortunately we can’t change the policy based on size of portfolio, time as a member, or anything else. That would be unfair to all the other members. The best thing to do is to email support. If there was a mistake, they will take care of it.
Perhaps you could remember it already happened to this file and remember I already proved several times it was mine, just to avoid losing my time and money huh? I already emailed the support to answer the email I received. It was 13hrs ago and still nothing done. I know they have a lot to do but this kind of things must be as fast to reactivate than it was to suspend, don’t you think?

I hope flashden starts asking authors about charges before punishing them for it.
Not at all. They first stop showing your file, that’s the problem. Damn, I’ve been accused by “a FD member” for having copied a website made with my own file that somebody bought! It has been bought more than 500 times and is also on G Unit and 50cent websites, will I be suspended everytime somebody uses my file? The first thing to do is to ask to the look-a-like website creator (draftFCB here, which is a huge worldwide group) if they bought the file from FD. If they say no, just look at when the look-a-like website has been made. You’ll obviously see that it has been made way after I did my file for my client more than 3 years ago, and even after I uploaded it here! Is that so difficult to investigate before suspending?

I had this badge several times
So how did you lose it? :? Is that even possible?
Sheriff badge is not permanent anymore, for several months now. You get it for 3 weeks.

Thanks Madj Abdul, I appreciate.

lifwanian, you’re right about the badge thing. It’s cool to give a sheriff badge, but it brings some abuses from people who want it without doing anything (I had this badge several times, but before complaining I investigated by myself, and you know what? I was right 100% of the time).

Majd abdul, I didn’t say I invented the parallax, and so didn’t SEGA by the way. I said I designed and developed this file by myself, with no help or copy from another file (that’s what copyright is about, inspiration is completely different). I’m modest, if I wasn’t I just would have to point my personal portfolio to show I’m not the kind of people some guys think I am :)

Hi guys,
people, who don’t know me, my works, and my files, are regularly accusing me to have stolen my 3d like engine files from somewhere else. I’m tired of that, and tired of having to prove each time it’s reported that I’m the original creator of these files. I’m tired of seeing my best selling file disabled because of that. PLEASE FD , INVESTIGATE BETTER THAN JUST DISABLING FILES AND WAITING EXPLANATIONS FROM AN AUTHOR !
The proof I made it myself is in the decription! I mentioned the client for who I made it few years ago! I commented everything myself! I brought support and customization! I did several similar files before the website you mentioned and surely bought my file even exists!

Sorry but I’m tired of all these bullshits, and I’m pissed of.
