My flyer was rejected. Ok, no biggie. But i don’t understand that one part where reviewer explains his decision.
“You need to work on distancing your files from those on the site. The design is still quite glossy, and we have hundreds of glossy, shiny and polished files. Think about making it truly unique. Consider things like the font choice, the typography (which in places needs more work, try to think about introducing more spacing all around as elements seem cramped together, or squashed into the boxes that hold them e.t.c) also work over the general style and layout in an attempt to create a unique and original concept.”
glossy, shiny, polished? hm… what you guys think?
Well then, in advance, welcome to GraphicRiver. I’m sure this is going to end well and you will find GR as great place to sell your goods and hangout with other designers.
It’s great design and i kinda like it, but i think it’s too artsy for GR. I just don’t where and what to start read. And i think that perfect rectangle template is going to be destroyed when customer replaces “dummy text” with real informations.
Don’ get me wrong, its really cool and fresh design and a nice thing to see in portfolio, but it’s not GR friendly really.
Anyway, good luck and welcome to graphic river.
Woouw, this looks great and it’s probably be the first item i’m gonna buy. Good luck mate.
Try woodpecker if you want to check your envato earnings.
my review on android market: It’s great, but it’s bad. Notifications don’t work. Well, they work, but they don’t reset, so every time you open you will get number of all your sales, not just new ones. Its best thing to turn them off and manually check earnings. Sometimes i get message about force closing when i don’t use app. Yes, it’s a buggy app, but still, if you are envato author and android user, this is great way to check you earning status when you are and the road or far away from computer.
