When I use this code:
maininterface001.sidebar_dragbar.pattern=new Sprite (); maininterface001.sidebar_dragbar.addChild (maininterface001.sidebar_dragbar.pattern); maininterface001.sidebar_dragbar.pattern.graphics.beginFill (0xFF9900); maininterface001.sidebar_dragbar.pattern.graphics.drawRect (0,0,1,1); maininterface001.sidebar_dragbar.pattern.graphics.drawRect (1,1,1,1); maininterface001.sidebar_dragbar.pattern.graphics.endFill (); maininterface001.sidebar_dragbar.pattern.cacheAsBitmap=true; maininterface001.sidebar_dragbar.b_pattern=new BitmapData (maininterface001.sidebar_dragbar.pattern.width,maininterface001.sidebar_dragbar.pattern.height,true); maininterface001.sidebar_dragbar.b_pattern.draw (maininterface001.sidebar_dragbar.pattern);
I get this error:
TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert flash.display::Sprite@539aba1 to flash.display.BitmapData.
What am I doing wrong?
Umm… where to start.
The “streaming” stuff is from a little system I created that juggles arrays quickly using json and acts as a socket without wasting memory. It’s reeeeeealy complicated, I sometimes get lost in it.
I created all the back-end from scratch and used json again to transport arrays to the flash. It all goes through 1 file that includes more files into it based on the query. All the designs except the pictures are created with script, the drawing classes.
It has taken me awhile, and then take into consideration I’m 16 and have school.
Why? Did you spam or something?
Well, this is probably considered advertising, but I’m really proud of this site I just made.
It generates invites to a private beta site called Lockerz.com. It sends invites to Lockerz through the backend PHP , unlike competition who do it manually.
Another site I’m pretty proud of is:
Feel free to comment on either of them.
How does he end certain beats? Either way, that was epic.
I believe with XHTML you can load an .swf with the object tag, instead of embed.
I think messing with framerate through EventListeners is dangerous either way, I’ll just still to a constant framerate.
What’s a clean and simple way to bounce a MovieClip from side to side?
Are you talking to yourself or is that just me?That is the dumbest music video I ever had to stop watching half way through. I mean c’mon. Girly Man? Weirdos!Its not that bad dude. You should have watched it all the way through. The end is the best part.
