Expiring bonus points for every purchase is actually a nice idea!
I agree that some notification of future price increases for all buyers could have been nice, but in fact not even authors knew the details of Envato pricing plans. As for general price increases – coffee and haircut still cost the same in your country as 3 years ago? I highly doubt that. And while with coffee, haircut and other stuff you just pay MORE for the SAME item/service as before, here on TF quality and complexity of items increased immensely during that same period, and more advanced items allow users to spend less time setting up their site, in fact saving money for them.
a $10 increase is too big a pill to swallow.
Come on, man… lolI can’t imagine your reaction, then, if you hired a developer for custom work and was quoted $1000+
Yes, I find it hilarious too. I hope people realize they are getting something for $50-60 that would take them up to $10000 and a lot of time develop usually. Even with “aftermarket” buyers who purchase and customize themes for a client, they are charging no less than $400-$500 for such projects, so $5-$10 increase is not noticeable.
I think the only bonus should be on big deposits, like deposit over $200 – get 10% bonus. Making a discounts on sales would be not fair to other buyers, no? Not everyone can become a power buyer, some people only purchase occasionally. In fact, most people.
While we are at it, I believe it was requested before, please make purchase date appear near ribbon in comments at least on hover – it would make many support communications easier.
Where exactly, if you don’t mind me asking? Is there another marketplace with such quality items at such low prices?
sevenspark, is this a feature or a bug? I thought downloading via FFOM gives you one free regular license.
