Depends on your target audience. The latest versions of Firefox support mp3 now, but I think it’s only on Linux and Windows at the moment. So not bad for the real world, but from my experience a lot of customers here use Macs. But one solution is to use Flash as a backup source. I have a “Direct Firefox to use Flash” as an option in my player and lots of customers use it to avoid having to create ogg files for every song.

Thanks for the reply, what you said make sense. But i will stick with both ogg and mp3 format because what i know about flash is just its spelling :)

Thanks again i am like one left in desert, but with your reply i am gonna move in some direction.

I am building a html5 player with ID3 tags from php script and getting them through ajax request, the problem is i cannot get ID3 information for ogg files so i really dont like supporting ogg files in the player so, is it a good option ?

i see other developers need both ogg and mp3 files as mp3 files are used for album art and all.

By the way, if it is not clear, at some point somewhere you’ve specified the notify URL, this is the URL that Paypal will hit to send you a notification. For the record, my response has got nothing to do with the URL you’ve used in file_get_contents, but it did help to see that your testing in localhost ( the root of your problem).

Yeah, thats what i think. The localhost may be the problem. I will test it in a live wordpress environment and will let you know the result :) Thansk for the reply.

@yourkishore, Couldn’t help but notice your URL. Your on localhost, hence Paypal IPN ( instant payment notification) will not work for you. You are required to provide a URL that can be accessed from the outside (outside your localhost), one that Paypal can reach ( from their servers). How are you expecting Paypal to send you a notification with just a localhost address ? Hence why you end up not getting a notification at all :P

Thanks for the reply, the local host file is nothing to do with paypal. I just wantted to fire that function and check its working or not the local host link is connected to my local database.

I am using paypal sandbox mode for testing payments. and this hook woocommerce_payment_complete after payement returning to website. It doesnot fire the function.

add_action( 'woocommerce_payment_complete', 'payment_complete_func' );

function payment_complete_func(){

    file_get_contents("http://localhost/wordpress/test.php?i
d=paymentagain2");
}

Hi guys ! Since i did not found what i was looking for by searching on google,i’m asking you directly: Is it really necessary to build first a psd template for your new theme? Is not much more simple to start create your css style directly, inspired or not by other websites or any other design you want to? For example, building a theme for a forum software i find to be a really waste of time by creating first the psd template , not to mention the difficulty creating it .So how many of you out there are using the PSD template method ? Thank you.

you wont believe me, i just opened forums to ask this question. After seeing Adi’s adaptive wordpress theme developement tutorial in tutsplus.com :)
