Although August is a slow month in the microstock industry, being featured with the free file of the month for me it was a very good month!
I would like to thank the Envato team for this opportunity and also would like to thank to all the buyers and fellow stock contributors that downloaded the free file!
Actually this is quite a good waiting period. There are of course faster accepting time but on most agencies it take a way more than 7 days to review the files. And I mean a lot more!
You’re welcomed. The problem with Adobe RGB is that many monitors are calibrated for sRGB… so the colors will look dull.
Of course for the end user Adobe RGB will be better, the gamut is wider… but for the web the sRGB is more suited.
My advice to you is to keep the RAW file and if needed you can convert the file as Adobe RGB.
Hello, I submit only sRGB files.
Thank you very much, it worked!
I will create a php script to prepare the files as needed (preview, thumbnail and zipped eps).
One problem could be the non-industry standard limit of 30 keywords (the standard is 50 or more). You cannot just remove the trailing 20 keywords, only first 7 are in order of importance, the rest are alphabetically stored.
Anyway, TanyDi, I would like to give you a big thank you for the help!
I new to GR and I do not manage to upload my eps files here. I upload also to PhotoDune and there I understood what I have to do.
Can I use the same ftp account? I uploaded files (blabla.eps, 01_blabla.jpg 900×900 as preview and blabla.jpg as thumbnail file) but I cannot retrieve the files on the server.
On PD I upload photos in bulk->photos. This time I uploaded in the root folder.
Any help is more than appreciated. Thank you!

Most of my images are 8000×6000. I create them with a vector software and I choose this resolution to raster them.
If you need insane resolution search for vectors… you can then export them at virtually any resolution you need, the limit is your computer.
For a quick start search the site for different keywords and you will have a picture about the demand and the offer.
