This whole “You have to .ZIP this, screenshot that” thing when you upload .PSD templates is hard work. Can’t I just put a little help.txt saying fonts at blahdeblah and the .PSD?

:p

It saves the reviewers and themeforest alot more time to not have to make the sample JPEGs / .ZIPs themselves. Its not that hard for you anyway, only perhaps 5 minutes max. But imagine doing that for hundreds of themes, its just not practical.

:)

I’m aware that the process is a bit tedious. Hopefully, with the upcoming redesign, things will be simplified somewhat. Thanks for your patience.

Hi

The only hard work would be when there’s a theme rejected and the reviewer has made his improvement points, so we fix these points and then we have to type all the description text over again, would be nice when a reviewer sends the description text with his improvement points.

So far as i can remember only kailoon does this, maybe you can make this so that the description text gets send automatically when a reviewer send his rejection email.

PS: and the new upload thingie works perfect :D

It would be nice if they sent it back, but to circumvent this every time I submit a new theme I copy/paste my description into a plain text file and save it…so in the case it does get rejected I don’t have to type the whole thing over again.

Actually, I too paste the description along with a every rejection.

Having said that, I’m pretty sure that a more user-friendly upload process is being worked on for the redesign.
