I’m still asking myself how this thread got in this direction. The original question was if someone can use 2 audiojungle files in preview, nobody said anything about extended license or including in the project…

The original question was:
Can i use audio jungle 2 author audio file for one videohive templates?

To what was answered:

If you purchase extended license of these tracks you can include them with your project

This is a hot topic lately. :) Right now, yes, it’s technically allowed. That said, a lot of people have expressed concerns over this so we’re taking a second look.

By the way, users cannot extract the audio to use in a separate project. They also can’t just add a bunch of music to something. It would need to be an integral part of the file.

Well what is the point to make collaboration with Audiojungle-author if you just buy extended license and get extra-”beef” to your Videohive-project? Basically Videohive-author can put all da moneyz in his pockets with this usage of extended license :)

It is very unbalanced and biased system: Videohive-author / Themeforest-author for example can include Audiojungle-track in his project but what options Audiojungle-author have regarding this?

So money-wise it’s better to focus on Videohive-projects and outsource audio buying extended licenses and reselling music with the project.

“It would need to be an integral part of the file.”

Well of course if somebody buys corporate presentation or logo reveal for example, he needs music for that project.

This is the market. What the point you sell extended license for any external customer and don’t know how and how much money they did? Usually no references or any other benefits for audio author, is it unbalanced? :-) – What the difference? VH autor buy extended license of audio include it into bigger product and sell this bigger product (dont’t sell audo itself) where audio is only one part (it may be even small part) of the AE project and offen may be just replaced and not used at all by buyer of AE project.

Best Regards, Andrey
