I agree with jonathan. The area with the “tabs” now looks like a bunch of non clickable text. MANY of us think you should focus on the header and leave the other stuff alone until that is fixed.

Great news, always improving, non stop! Also keep an eye on what the authors think trough the forum, both things go hand by hand!

The difference is – it is sufficient to make the authors to update their description images. Still maintains same BG color for eyes. Hex color #D2D1D0 becomes #D2D1CF. The mathematical difference is just 1, can’t this change avoided while designing? :|

The difference in tab design – is not even important to make an announcement about these kind of changes.

The survey is useless, since the vast majority of authors not even see these forums.

All summarizes: Less efforts towards understanding the usability – more efforts spent on announcing and getting feedback from few authors from survey. We need the staffs to “understand” the obvious requirements rather than just gathering data through a disceret set of users.

ah, yes. That was me also :), but then I read the thread. Apparently the change is in the way the tabs on item page look. They stop being tabs and become just text. And if I’m not mistaken also the fonts are changed (or maybe is a screenshot from a different browser)

About the background change, I’ve verified the upload page and see that for thumbnails is possible to upload PNG. I have no idea when this become possible and don’t know why do I still use jpg as thumbnails. :) I will update them as soon as possible.

just a question.

if the tabs are removed from items page it is probably true also that they will be removed from other areas where they show up now, no? Like dashboard, or forum

Just wondering, but who decided to remove the tabs? Seems like an odd choice for usability as I don’t see an indication of a link there compared to regular text? How would a user know they are links to click? They just look like floating words.. no underlines, nothing around them, not a different color? Jonathan

+1, I mean, I was like ‘wtf are those?’ looking at the sneakpeak.

[...] There’s one more thing… We’d like to lighten the background color.

For God’s sake…
