in the last 25 minutes I’ve started to browse the forum from videohive ended up on themeforest and had a second tab of the marketplace open on graphicriver. I have no idea how this happen.
I really like the new design.
I’m not sure if someone already reported this (sorry, I didn’t read through all the 48 pages), but right now I cannot see icons on Firefox:
They are displaying correctly on webkit browsers though.
In the profile page: Please add some space between the profile image an the new View Portfolio button, in the way it is right now it’s way too squeezed. Also, changing the color of the button from grey to anything happier would be a great idea.
I think the “new design” looks messy TBH.
I have a love/hate relationship with the new design. I think it was long overdue and it’s a step forward. There’s much room for improvements, as a lot of others have said it before and some of the sketches pin point real issues and offer good solutions.
What worries me most is that ever since the new visual and the new search came up, I’ve seen a significant drop in sales. While it’s very frustrating, for now I’m trying to keep a positive attitude and regard it as a possible adjustment time for users/buyers. Yet I can’t shake the feeling that it’s mostly due to design issues and search relevancy. When you search for “whatever-word” and a product whose name is exactly “whatever-word” is only on second page, something’s really messed up.
Was about to say “Hope things will get sorted out”, but then again I realised I’ve been saying that for a long time and yet I can’t remember the last time I was truly happy about an Envato move.
I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A little whitespace between the avatar and the View Portfolio button would be nice
