It’s weird to be added to some random teams without any sort of approval…

This could be a problem for popular authors :)

But This is very useful both authors and customers for better support. :sunglasses:

So any news when the addressed issues will be solved? I had really high hopes regarding this feature but all it does, the only thing it does, is to add a label in comments if a team member answers one of your comments.

Just a reminder:

1. You need a verification process when adding a team member.
2. The team member is not receiving notifications regarding new comments.
3. The team member does not see in his dashboard the new comments. He will need to search on each product’s comments section, like before.
4. The comments are not marked as read. I will have to do it, like before.

I’m not sure what was the point of this update.

?! It was not possible to directly reply to comments on other people’s items before “author teams” happened.

You are right, I don’t know why I was under the impression that you could … but is still useless without notifications working (or are they working and I’m doing something wrong).

Missing email notifications must be some kind of bug, we’ll look into it. Totally agree we’ll need to do some work on the dashboard as well :)
