Because bringing some unnecessary content to the world, such as this Gangman style accident. On a normal and healthy society, such things could be for kids play (except “heeeey sexy lady”), but to become known by adults? The statement above makes sense to me
The track is genius! Absolutely genius. End.

It is obvious. Google (and their products youtube etc) started interfering people’s choice in almost all the fields. As of now, anything that appears as popular through google or youtube are taken serious by users. Also google strongly opposes any regulations introduced by govts, new policies etc.
I am not commenting about this particular song but the way youtube’s engine brings content to the people’s eye.

Totally agree. People don’t realise how very hard it is to write an insanely successful pop song like that, the dude has skills!

I understand your point, but is it harming users in any way? It’s not. If you don’t like it just don’t watch it, you can always have your own opinion.

I like that thing too. I even saw it before it was mainstream; it had around 1-2 million views back then.

As a song listener it is ok to omit what we dislike. But as an internet user, we can’t stop observing the way the contents getting popular and trends of search engines. We depend a lot on that. Just my 2 cents.
