Okay.. okay.. Hahaa… I prefer to leave from this argumentation..
I’m not really get into this problem actually, and you guys are senior authors and sure have much more experience than me..
My best wishes for Envato and Envato’s authors…
Cheers, All !
As I’ve said before in other thread, this is just a business … and why don’t we just believe that Envato who has their own professional marketing team knows what they’re doing (or what they’re testing).
off course they know what they are doingthat’s the point of this thread.
Slightly that way but the trust blasted not because of “greed observation” but the gaps that occur due to expansion. Few years back, single staff makes many decisions, so there was chance of considering all aspects of one decision but now it is clear that too much of fragmentation/specialization preventing the staff to look single thing from many aspects. This is how we started allow a bulldozer to run over few hundred kittens!
Few hours past the end of bundle, still it is possible to click the purchase button and still numbers ticking. Couldn’t understand what this means, 14 days not enough for tests? Is this an Error or Greed? It seems the whole purpose is making sales conversion rather than traffic or serving it as external attraction.
By the way how many people involved in the “Envato Bundle Team”? Do their salary is directly proportional to bundle earning? Such scheme would be dangerous!
Coming to an end.
VF saidYeah I felt strange too. Is this anything related to time zones?
Few hours past the end of bundle, still it is possible to click the purchase button and still numbers ticking.
No, the bundle timer already shows 0 Hours 0 Minutes 00 Seconds. So it is the staff just waiting to see maximum sales rather than disabling the link. It would be ridiculous to say “we are still experimenting”.
As this bundle I had only 13 sales for 14 days. Still it’s going on. Envato only think about their profits?
Google says it’s 1:24 PM Melbourne time, staff chilling out at noon and accidentally forget to push the button?
