my router will get all messed up with that speed, its never handle a speed more than 1.5 Mb/s :)

Sorry but BT lie…

Bare in mind it states its based on already installed fibre optic lines.

BT say they will make high speed broadband to 70% of the UK by 2017.

Unless you live in or near major cities or high populated areas, you wont get it.

I live in the midlands and according to the openreach it states fibre is not coming anytime in the next 2 years, which basically means I will never get it, and I will be stuck on 1.8mb forever in my area.

I have friends from a lot of districts in England and only 3 have Fibre, and only another 5 are planned rollout in the next 2 years.

After 2017 BT have announce that their allocated budget will be at maximum and no more will be built upon.

So this is good new for about 30% of the country but for the majority it means nothing as its based on Fibre.

Good old times…
Once we had the Commodore 64, we waited for almost 10 minutes to play a game. And those were the most enjoyable games I’ve ever played.

And now, 180 GB/s?
Is this real?
Come on, do not take the joy of waiting from us, we need some torture to enjoy!

I’m enjoying a 46 kb/s upload speed when publishing new items. Believe me I have enough of that :)
