Another quality post. A lot was accomplished in 2013. Cannot wait to see what 2014 brings and what we are able to do with it! :)

Thanks for making it all possible, Collis!

Little bit confusion here as “what exactly is Envato for an user?”

For a ThemeForest marketplace buyer, it doesn’t matter if this is a community which covers 8 marketplaces, a freelance service and tutorial sites. If a buyer focused only a small category within single marketplace, that small part should work efficiently today (kind of 3 – 6 months for example). Otherwise, that buyer is no longer a part/member of our so called community.

If a VideoHive focused buyer couldn’t find easily what they expected, then the long term growth and visions of community is “nothing” for them today (for a span of 3 – 6 months). In the same way if a TF author loses his/her profit because of inconsistent initial exposure and poor rating system, then the long term visions of community has “zero” hope today (or for years).

May be such users can return here by 2020 but – doesn’t this sound like a relay race done by new users while the only permanent gainer is just the system / Envato? I just wanted to make a point that “users” are equally important to what we call as “community members”.

What is exactly the “community” mean? Does that include a one time buyer and consider their needs?

Thanks a lot to all staff who made this possible.

Anyway , I don’t think there is a single AUTHOR who feels his/her voice is taken seriously.
What would you feel in a situation like that?

I sent an email to support , about my concerns about the new search update , and all I got was an email stating “we did some updates to the current search system”.

You can read my comment / concern below about the search update

New Search Platform Update / my comment

You think this is fair?
A search performance with only a group of authors listed on the first page of the results?
Listing 5-6 items from 2-3 authors?
We already lost the main page exposure a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
And now this.

Edit: Please excuse my English Grammar mistakes.
Altough it can’t be an excuse , English is not my mother tongue.
