22 hours on frontpage and bumped off already..

I hate to complain or anything but what is up with my file that got kicked off the front page rotation within a single day?

I could swear i saw some files before rotating around for at least 2 days or was this my imagination?

Can we expect all the project files that are on the frontpage right now be gone in tomorrow around this time?

Please tell me there was some kind of a miscommucation with between the reviewers. Sorry for the rant but 22 hours of exposure on frontpage seems just too short. ... anyone else agree? My file is #41 :/

Just wanted to add this, it doesnt make any sense if my file is nr.41 down the line and was accepted a day ago. Nr.42 was added 4 days ago. I mean i understand there where holidays but this cant be right, right?

I would blame it solely on the holiday, and the fact that the reviewers are rushing to get files accepted (or rejected) which is why so many have been added to the site in the last few days. I’d expect it to slow down by the end of the week. But i agree with you that 22hrs is far too short.

I don’t think it’s holiday, it’s always like that on beginning of the week.

@Massfocus, I agree with you, was thinking exactly the same thing. The only thing here is that we can hope that front page doesn’t affect the sales so much. And you know, lately, I also think it doesn’t so much, so, don’t worry mate

I’ve actually had more sales after being bumped off the front page. Go figure.

hahaha everybody wants there files to be approved fast but at the same time wants there file on the front page. Guys the way Envato is increasing in few months you file will remain on front page for couple of hours. Although the buyers uses search engine more then front page view. Only authors see front page view and never uses search engine.

Well yes it is the holiday-weekend combination, i definitely think its worse than usual this weekend.

I agree people dont look so much front page…. but for sure they look at the popular items

i think that front page is not so important. All of us sell items that have been out of from page months ago.. Is item is good it will work fine and yours is good.

Faster view times will result in items staying less on front page I guess.
