Hello Friends!

I have the following question:

is it allowed to have two exclusive accounts on Envato? I would like to establish one account for web design and a second one for audio production, so both accounts would have completely different exclusive items.

Thank You!

yes you can, but keep in mind that the more you sell the more you earn per account, so this means that if you have only one account for all your products you will sell more in one account and therefor your payment rate will increase faster!

The only reason I see for having 2 exclusive accounts is keeping the portfolio organized. So for example on videohive for stock footage and one for motion graphics templates.

But as your items will be on seperate marketplaces, there is no need for that.

And the benefit of only one account is – you get faster to a higher commission rate and you then get it for all your items – i.e. more money for you.

Of course you can, but one account would be much better for you.

Other than a higher payment rate, using just one account can be interesting from an exposure / SEO point of view. You’ll have to promote just one name and one brand, and your audio popularity could benefit your web design sales (and vise versa).

That said, there are people who specifically decide to brand their account towards one type of media, or even use multiple accounts for different categories. A new, shared account for collaboration projects is also quite popular.

It’s definitely food for thought, but either option is allowed. You’re free to choose what you feel suits you best. In the end, that’s what counts.
