well, Can’t expect the number of 34 new items today! (25 Jan) . The other days of this week have maximum 20 items only.
My item approved in this hot day also and it’s the first one! LOL . So it’s going to get out of home page in next day if the review is still processing.
Anyone know that in next day 26 Jan , the review still process or wait until monday?
I believe we’re near to the day when more than 40 item approve and a new item can’t stand 24 hours before it gone from index page. LOL

Don’t worry, if your item is good enough, it will get good sales even when its not on homepage. Good luck with sales.

Is this an Envato support-bot speaking? :D

There is a difference between approving exactly bunch of 30 items and more than 30; for few obvious reasons any Envato staff can understand! (Not speaking about home page but internal paging)

“if your item is good enough…” is irrelevant to initial exposure. Especially when the search system improvements postponed to next year by every year.

Not near, but it has already happened last year. There’s nothing much you can do about this other than releasing more / better items to increase your customer base. The long-awaited improved search system is still in development (maybe, the suggestion was given years ago and we are still waiting for it)

No, just trying to be positive. Do we have any other option?

Definitely. We can request the practically possible improvements.

We know the numbers like max items on home page (40) and internal page listings (30) and average number of items approved per week. We can request staff to make review process to approve items with restricted numbers. For example, no more than 20 items approved within subsequent 24 hours. Almost all of us know that this is possible with dev team’s (one time) work without even restricting reviewer’s workflow.

Considering the amount of efforts put on each theme/template, authors deserve 18 -24 hours of initial exposure. Isn’t it?

In the past, staffs were busy with heavy works like PhotoDune development. So it is obvious to assume they can’t touch these kind of improvements. But as of now they have dedicated staffs for development.

Of course, we can stay positive, after pointing the possible solutions. Not before! :D
