Maybe it would be nice to have a codecanyon page “Items sold yesterday”...
It would be quite easy to iterate all codecanyon items, save the item name and its number of sales in a database, then, the next day, make the same iteration again and compare the results with the ones from the database (it’s possible with Envato API, but time consuming and API stressing)
Though I am sure this will affect creativity and everyone will copy the best selling items
Once I had a couple of days with no sales too, so I made a php script like the above, but only for items similar to mine, to see if their sales dropped too And I have seen that other similar items had increasing sales daily….So I thought I should improve my items somnehow, update tags with ones more relevant, improve the demo page, etc which I did
Sales is going fine for me. Although got a very little bit slow in these 2 days.
Yep, a bit slower also for me in the last week. Last two days were ok since I launched a new item, but nothing special.
I think the new Envato menu has a little ‘guilt, but remember we are on December 11, holidays are coming
for me, this month is the best month ever the sales is very good!
^ you don’t count lol j/k. Congrats on a great month!
I agree with Dan, Andys results dont count and should be ignored, because he isnt real he is a machine ! lol
i got 40sales for this month! which i think its very good! i need to use the 10x Rule for next year!!
