I just came across this truly useful resource post from Noupe:

http://www.noupe.com/javascript/most-wanted-ajax-techniques-50-ajax-examples-and-tutorials.html

It lists over 50 examples of “most wanted” Ajax techniques, which I’m sure would be useful for others too :)

Thanks Jeffrey, that’s another great article :)

I think I came across this a while back while searching for a method to add star-ratings but had forgotten to bookmark it!

From what I’ve found, the unit png fix is by far the best solution. I believe Chris Coyier did a tutorial on it not too long ago. I’ll see if I can find it.

Using the Unit PNG Fix

  • Just be weary of the the background images stretching. That’s one drawback.

That’s a really useful post for me, especially as the comments offer “tried and tested” alternatives too.

The hosted Google code solution may prove especially useful for me, as Blogger users generally dislike having to set up hosting for their own JS files ;)

Thanks again!
