Other than all the features listed:

List of all items + information

name

description

price

Purchased

ActionScript Version

Resolution

Opens With

Published Size

User Rating //only send the average + number of rates

That way authors could build application to view their information and redirect more buyers to the site!

and probably send comments too. This will speed up support from authors.

AAArg, why is it called recent-sales with a – now i can’t load the data in flash using the json loader and call json.recent-sales (because of the -) :(

Thanks for this, works great. I’d like to see support for all the users files, with the name, price, description, # of sales and the url of the thumbnail.

Also, as with the post above me, could you drop the hyphens in XML (ie. if you could use ‘recentsales’ instead of ‘recent-sales’) :)

Would recent_sales work in flash? You should just be able to access it like this data[‘recent-sales’], coz it’s just a hash, right? Or are you trying to access it like this data.recent-sales?

I’m trying it in PHP (using the XML format), with the following:

$sales = $xml->recent-sales->recent-sale;

However the hyphens in the names seem to throw off the selector. I have to put ‘recent-sales’ and ‘recent-sale’ into variables and access them from there:

$recentsales = 'recent-sales';
$recentsale = 'recent-sale';
$sales = $xml->$recentsales->$recentsale;

if you want to acces your xml form flash try like this ;] yourXML.child(“recent-sales”) It works for my air app :) Btw. when we can expect any api update? Could you include some time of sale or date ? Then it will be ease to do stats… One more think, the url to the item thumb will be nice too :)

My feature list:

total sales this month
total sales all time
total $ this month
total $ all time
star rating
today’s sales amount
last sold item name
last sold item amount
last sold item time stamp
list of last 20 or so sold items
current author %
Flashden server time (so we can be warned when to withdraw)
average sales per day
average $ per day
user icon
user badges

Not all of these have to be in api to work them out , but it would be nice! oh and it would be cool, if we could all share source code :-) This forum should be on the main page because I did not even know it was here for a long time.
