A refund

hi, I bought the theme QUICKSTEP for a portfolio with videos but the admin of the forum Themeluxe support said me it’s not possible. this is his answer to my problem : You can add in youtube or vimeo videos to your site easily, but if you want to replace the portfolio images with videos, then you can hire someone to help you do it or you can wait until we come out with the update for this.

This theme does have a vast amount of customization and frankly, is priced very well for a theme with this much AJAX and other functionality.

“Videos for portfolio items were not included in the demo because it’s currently not an option. It was certainly not our intent to mislead you into thinking otherwise. If you can’t wait for the update, then you can try contacting Theme Forest to request a refund.. “

Really doubt you’ll get a refund, since you’re asking for something that’s not in the demo and that wasn’t advertised anywhere, customization and even support are not included in the purchase.

You did not ask the theme developer a support question (support is not a requirement on ThemeForest anyway). You also got what you paid for. I doubt you will get a refund based on the information you’ve provided.

When BMW says that with their cars you have unlimited possibilities, bla bla, you can’t just ask for your money back because you can’t fly with it. Same with themes, everything has a limit.

Hoping support see’s this thread and does not give you a refund. You’re the type of cheap-skate guy to buy a theme and make up any pathetic excuse to get your money back. Get a life…and a job while you’re at it if a few $’s is really that big a deal.

What has bitten you? I get such requests in my support jobs as well but most of the time it’s a misunderstanding either in the marketing of the theme or in what’s included, as support, custom development etc.
