I can’t become more calm that I am. Read again the comment and you will realize there’s no anger in my words. :)

We had to ask numerous times for things to change before it actually happened.

It may appear that we need to constantly ask for features and when the staff have enough they finally decide to do what we ask, but, off course this is wrong. Fact is they have a schedule list. They will work on things they consider that are more important. Also they will not inform the members every day on what they start to work or what they finished. The private author forum may be already finished or not even on the list, who knows :)

That’s when I thought “why lock? ... usually we charge money for our services even if they’re design/consultant related .. here you get feedback from profis for free”

Well, the file in question is now completed and approved. Not only does it no longer make sense to discuss it on the main forum it is not allowed. The “Comments” page or direct feedback is the place for further discussion now) :)

patrickjansen, exactly what theflyingtinman said. Why not lock it? One day, a year from now it pops up and someone goes ” hey, I don’t like the font either! ” I just needed advice on some aesthetic things. Once I’ve received the, and applied them, and of course was satisfied with the overall design, I uploaded the file and got approved. It is only logic that that thread becomes useless. A good lesson learned about fonts, but that’s it. No reason to keep it around just to be someone’s new spam toy.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. doru you might be right, but if it is so, why do we never get a reply to a thread when asking for something changed that is of importance to us? For example this? I can’t think of any-others at this moment, but no official envato staff member has replied to any of our ” most sensitive ” / ” sensitive ” matters … :|

The list is there, but someone say something. Because continuing like this will only fill up the forums with the same old questions posted by different authors who still want an answer.

Better say it ” It cannot be done, because it cannot be done” than leave it unanswered. Don’t you agree with me?
