sometimes people think they can write the rules (no support for birthday bundle) but the reality is your customers often play a large role in writing the rules (I bought it and your name was on it so you should support me or else I’ll think you’re bad.) that’s just life. you can expend lots of energy in trying to change it or you can accept it and bend with it and turn it to your benefit.envato made the rule, not me or authors.
and they did it for good reasons.now, call me bad, but rant still valid.

- we got paid 250x while bundle sold more than 5k
- there’s no way i can tell if a user has bought the bday bundle or not

Was it stated in bday bundle that the buyers would get no support? I think that would have been fair, btu I didn’t read the description . Anyway, I wouldn’t give support either. All of those items for that price, I wouldn’t have the balls to ask for support personally

all 3 parties have somehow right, envato stated there is no support for the bundle, i bet most of the buyers read it but didnt give a hot about it at that moment as they didnt want to miss this opportunity. Now authors seat in shit.
If aliens sell me an UFO for $25 i will buy…even i dont know how to use/drive/fly with that thing
But seen from ethics perespective, you will for sure expect support on something you purchaise and you not familiar with in order to be able to use it.
End results: envato made ton of money in just 3 days, authors that got items in the bundle probably doesnt make sales of that items anymore as thos items float on web for free sharing everywhere, and buyers got some stuff for burger money that they cant use now as there is no support.
