Hi VideoHivers!

We would like to raise an issue. We’ve noticed that some authors of VH link music under their projects without notifying the AudioJungle author (as it happened to us, for expemple). We know that you are allowed to do that, but in this way can happen that the unsuspecting AJ author removes the music, maybe because he has decided to revise the portfolio, causing the inefficiency of the VH link. This is, as you understand, very annoying for buyers. So, please, keep always informed the AJ authors about your will to link their music: it will be more profitable for both. Thank you all!

Couldn’t agree. Most of Vh authors using audiojungle tracks and we’re always (%99) gives item link in the item description but for some reason audiojungle authors removing their tracks from audiojungle portfolio ( Copyright problems or signing another music company etc.) most of them knows that Their tracks already used in videohive projects. I have 5 missing track that I used in my projects (from audiojungle) and this is really huge problem for me. I was tried contact with those authors for getting any info about those missing tracks but no one did not back to me !!! We are made the projects fully synchronized with music files and if any buyer can’t find the music , can be ignore the project ! Anyway I will find new music files instead of missing ones and i will rearrange them… And I don’t think I will use any music from audiojungle.

Sorry for bad English ;)

Well, this is a must, i guess, mate. But i was talking about to inform the aj author, shooting back a mail to him, for exemple. If a VH author put music only in the item description, the music composer doesn’t know that so he may remove the stuff and the link will fail. This could happen not only for copyright problems, but for various reason.

Well, mate, this is very bad news. Envato is a great community and, in my opinion, we should cooperate to make it greater. Anyways, good luck for your search! :)

I agree with you Cinquearti, but I also understand that some AJ authors, removing the tracks used on VH project, causes disappointing reactions from the buyer and the VH author… I believe, and forgive me if I am wrong, that linked project should remain online together unless both of the authors decide to cancel thei projects. Usual music cames online first and only after a VH author decide to make a full project on that specific audio file… Maybe Envato rulers should think abut it? ...this is only a thought…

Can I somehow know who from the VH autors used the music from the AJ, and when this did not contact the AJ author, in order to later avoid trouble with the buyers? Indeed when this happens the situation is not very pleasant, can be deemed a loser three parties: the buyer, AJ autor, VH autor!
