No, I use specialized hosting for Magento because it makes sense for that platform. Media Temple (DV) is simply a great workhorse server that is very flexible and powerful.

I’m on vps.net (actually moved from mt) I’m very satisfied with vps.net, mt was good too, but I find vps.net a bit cheaper.

@mixey – is vps.net fully managed? Can’t find ‘cause I kinda need fully managed VPS.

I’ve also had VPS.net as someone else mentioned, they are really good also!

Hi, Currently I am using Shared hosting from hostgator.com for my demo server and its really disgusting. Even some times they will suspend all of your accounts and site without previous notification.I am planning to buy service from media temple as I had seen their service and its really very nice.

So, which one is it? Does MT provide good services for our business or not? I see some different experiences here. Lottery?

I use Media Temple (gs) for some smaller WordPress sites. I haven’t had any serious problems. The uptime has been good as far as I’ve noticed and I’d give the support an A. Not a bad price either.
