No from now on you must ignore all forum posts. You can’t be too sure that any or even all of them aren’t one of those posts. Think of your safety man.

Point taken! Safety first. I suppose I better find myself a pair of safety goggles before I continue reading :o

And don’t run with forks. Just in case the rating system doesn’t work out that well.

I’ve seen 3 messages quite like that from 3 different guys over the past few days, each of them having exactly that 1 post. I have trouble telling if they’re doing it on purpose or not :o

They are attempts at spamming the forums with links for advertising or SEO link building … but the poster used the square-bracket syntax for links, used on most forums, which does not work on Envato forums. It’s just spam, reported yesterday. Should have been removed but it’s ineffective with the broken links.

What a failed attempt, both in the delivery of the reply and the attempt to use common standards in a forum that doesn’t support its code syntax style.

such spam posts are not good sign…to post on the forums you must have an account and be loged in, this translates to something worser. Someone may find a way to build a bot that does it and they did a few tests for syntax…umm, of cource this is only a possibility.
