A Ticket ID is a reference for a specific support request you’ve made. Everyone who sends a mail to support gets a ticket, makes it a lot easier for support to find old and already closed tickets if a similar problem should appear again.

The ticket ID itself ain’t nothing you really need to care about, it’s just an ID for reference. But it might come in handy if you need a follow up on the same subject as last time. Makes it a lot easier for support to handle the same request and see what’s been said before.
