sup world!

I just got Windows 7 installed on my 17 inch Mac Book pro with 3DS MAX 2008 and the Swift 3D MAX plugin….

u know what that means right?

it means im gona blow your mind!

for the longest time Ive done all my animations for flash in Swift 3D!

but now I have the worlds best 3D program hooked in with Swift 3D Plugin which means I can turn anything from 3DS Max into a flash vector animation (except for particles…)...

im just really stoked about this, Ive been dreaming about making some really awesome 3D stuff for Flash for a long time, now i have the tools to do so (just need the time now)

Ill be working on 3D Site Templates for flash den once I get some client work out of the way, and of course, buy Eltimas Flash Optimizer to bring you the worlds best 3D Flash sites in the world, without the heavy file sizes!

yes the world is about to be “awed” by my future 3D creations…

any requests for 3D post them here, I already got one under production which is gona really impress some of you. Its like my 3D USA MAP file, but its going to be of the entire planet! and will probably take me forever to make but its gona be off the chaaain!

please post your 3D Site template ideas here, I got plenty, but something to balance out my off the chart ideas with something more real could help out a bit….

PEACE !

@arctic_ark ... but that is not real 3d. All you can export from there are frames with vectorized images. If you really want to make cool stuff i think you must learn stuff like papervision or away3d…

Well, Swift 3D MAX is a nice plug-in but its really pointless when you have CS4 you can 3D any vector, movie clip, object atc` and all this for basic shape under 17kb if you are using the timeline ,even more you can make a light engine base on code with CS4 and recycle your class over and over and reduce your Kb even more . With CS3 ? basic 3D ? I saw 2 weeks ago someone on FD submit a 3D class base on vector image, movie Clip and all this on a stunning 3-5Kb I think.

But the real 3D power is on the PV3D , AWAY3d , FIVE3D atc` there is no real replacement for that as far as i know, yes size and CPU are a factor but good coding can compensate for that see RimV …..

yea, but how advanced can you animate in code? Im not a master genius of programming, and if I was I’d probably be into other things. Doing vector-based animations built into things like flash-sites or components just make an awesome item. Yes there are things I know are only possible with programming, like real time 3D, but I may never have the time to learn how to amaze others, with code alone.

Don’t get me wrong when flash came out about 10-12 years ago animate was the reactor of flash and with programming it was something fresh that came out into the flash web design world. Still I think if you want to do animation 3D, CS4 is the best tool around and you have the option to combine it with light code, I think so far CS4 step up with the animation option for AS3 and AS2 it’s a great tool for animators to use 3D base on timeline .

Your 3D USA MAP can be easily be done with CS4 3D animation with minimal coding and less then 30KB. Animate base on pure coding is very strict and a tired process to do which I find sometime very pointless if you are trying to make complex graphics. I make graphic with code only when needed, but i can make a complex button shape and then just recycle it with a class with XML support and change it on the XML to bring 1000 deference shape something that animator will work for hours I can do in 15 minutes so its just better option sometime

Sadly flash lose a lot of his animation implementation during new flash version to coding but I still think the creativity of flash web site start first from the visual graphic, the coding bring you the power to alleviate your website .

As we are moving on , note how small flash website become on size and that’s do to a coding.

Bottom line the final resolute is what matter that’s all ….

Less that 30KB?!? Full-fledged 3D? With each state having independent geometry? That I have to see to believe…
