I recently posted about a WP theme I recently purchased, voicing my opinion that it was limited, not very functional, and looked bad on mobile devices.

IT WAS REMOVED BY THEMEFOREST .

I wasn’t slanderous, didn’t curse, wasn’t offensive. Why was this post “flagged”. Unbelievable. All you ever see on comments is “good work”, “nice theme!”, usually from people who didn’t buy it.

There is seldom actual “Product Reviews”, they all seems to be saying how great the theme is. There needs to be more accountability and honest comments. In other words, Real Reviews.

Hmmm well it’s not required to work on a mobile device so, i dont think that you can complain about that.

+1 mobile devices are different than desktops, and if the item clearly stats its functionality in the item description there shouldn’t be a problem on functionality as its stated
if the item is misleading and it doesn’t have function it claims then you have the right to complain

as for over priced your kidding right? go to any other market place there double or triple the price of items found here(some times more than that)

totally – and there are WAY too many mobile devices with different scales of browsing the web that it’s something extremely specific that needs coding. As for not very functional and limited – surely all it’s functionalities and limitations were listed in the description?

If those were wrong then yes – remove the file fersure.

Hey,

let’s make this a productive thread!

I haven’t read your previous post but without naming the author or theme, how was the theme limited and not functional?

As Mark said, mobile is it’s own topic and themes here aren’t meant for mobile devices but from your perspective as a buyer, what went wrong and what would have made the theme better / perform according to your needs?

I’m asking since it’s something that can help us developers create better products.

You can use 2 WP themes at the same time, one of it will be the default and another one will only be activated when the site is opened with mobile device, see http://themeforest.net/category/wordpress/mobile

lol I see a lot of comments that are quite the opposite of “nice work” and “great job”... Anyone can flag a comment, and then it will go into review. But I’ve found that TF moderators are very good about reviewing these flagged comments appropriately when they do get to them. They do not delete comments simply for being negative. I’ve seen many times a comment was flagged that was negative and then when moderators got to it, they set the comment back live.
