I know its only been out for a short period of time, but I have already gotten a hefty amount of people (both current and prospective buyers) asking if certain things work in v3.5

While pretty much every plugin should be fine having the ability to list in the item description that it works with the latest version would cut down on the need for these types of responses. Not to mention all the people coming to item pages looking at an item and seeing 3.4 is the highest supported WordPress version could cause the loss of some sales.

I have already notified support yesterday about this and they said that they are working on it, so I guess we have to wait while they work on it :)

Why not just add a field where we can add additional attributes that aren’t on the select list? For example, this way we could type in: “WordPress 3.5”, “Firefox 17”, “iOS 6”, etc. Then Envato doesn’t have to worry about updating the attributes so often because we can do it ourselves.

Hmmm, Envato allows Authors to type in any attributes they want. I can see it now…

“WardPressed 5.3” – Customer says, “What the heck is WardPressed”?

“All Lastest Browser Versions!” – What does that even mean?!

“Super Duper Retina Extreme To The Max!” – That’s simply redonkulous!

All spelling, etc errors are intentional to illustrate a point. Perhaps it’s fine how Envato does it because spelling is an lost art and there’s something to be said for consistent verbiage. I can even be somewhat dyslexic on rare occassions. LOL.

^ I’m guessing you haven’t noticed that some of the attributes have been outdated for quite a while :P
