Trying to add galleries to my main menu on the Pluto theme that I just bought and having a difficult time. My site is http://frankunderground.com. You can see the menu on the left side consists of 2 pages. These are handled through the Pluto settings page, not the menu page. When I go to the menu page, it asks me to create a new menu…but the menu is already specified in the Pluto settings page.

Did you try checking the “Screen Options” at the top? The “Theme Locations” meta box is hidden, that has to be shown and then you should be able to select the menu you created.

Hey Frank,

You first need to create your menu.

Give it a name, like Main Menu. Click Create on the right. Then, from the left, select your menu in the theme location.

Now I am not familiar with that template, but most work so that you need tocreate a page that holds your gallery. You would then be able to add that page to your menu. If that’s not how the theme works, you can always create a custom link in there and add it to the menu ;)

The issue is that there apparently is already a menu created, because my website HAS a menu on it. For funzies, I created a new menu called “Main Menu” and added the 2 pages and 2 galleries to it. But it doesn’t impact the main page when I reload it…I still just see the 2 pages, with no galleries.

The theme may have an automatic fallback, in case you haven’t created a menu. Anyway, did you select the theme location as I mentioned?

Also look in the theme options, if there’s any setting regarding menus.
