Hello There,

I am lookin for an Adobe air tutorial/application what read a PHP (of XML file) reads on my server, this contains the new members on my site. If there is a new member I would show a popup on my system tray (like MSN /WLM).

Does anybody know a standard Air application or a tutorial for this?

Thanks a lot.

Kind Regards, Ronn0

have you looked through the Adobe AIR Developer Center for Flash? Try it here,

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/flash/

I looked through the QuickStarts here,

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/flash/quickstart/

and found this one that might help you,

Working on a Ajax/HTML app now, cause thats easier for what I want. But can’t find how to set it to the system tray anywhere (only in the flashversion I could find this). Does somebody know this? :-)
